Questions
Common questions about Payroll
What do you need from us each month?
Attendance (a biometric export is fine), leave, joiners and leavers, salary changes and any one-off payments or deductions. Once we have them, we aim to finish payroll within 24–48 hours.
Do we have to move to your software?
No. You can use our Windows-based or web-based payroll software, or we can process salaries on your own software by sending our person to your office each month.
Can employees get their own payslips and Form 16?
Yes. Payslips and Form 16 are emailed to each employee, and our web-based software gives employees a login to view and update their basic details and download documents without going through HR.
How soon must we pay an employee who leaves?
Under the Code on Wages, wages due must be paid within two working days, whether the employee resigned, was removed or was retrenched. Gratuity, where due, must be paid within 30 days. We prepare the full and final settlement so you can meet both.
Can you handle payroll across branches and states?
Yes. We produce salary statements by month, department or branch, and apply each state's Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund rules to the right employees.
