Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
Labour Welfare Fund contributions are small, and in Maharashtra they fall due only twice a year, which is exactly why they get missed. We make sure the right amount is deducted and paid on time in every state you operate in.

Questions
Common questions about Labour Welfare
How often is LWF paid in Maharashtra?
Twice a year. The contribution is deducted from June and December salaries and paid by 15 July and 15 January. Other states follow their own schedules.
Who pays LWF, the employer or the employee?
Both. A small amount is deducted from the employee's salary and the employer adds its own share, which is usually larger.
Does LWF cover every employee?
Not always. State laws leave out some categories, such as certain managerial or supervisory staff, and the rules differ from state to state. We check who is covered in each state where you have people.
Did the Labour Codes replace LWF?
No. Labour Welfare Fund is a state law and continues alongside the Codes.
